Cadet Leadership & Resilience Session - Park View Academy of Sport

Building confidence, teamwork and physical resilience through practical outdoor challenge activity.

S4L Community CIC recently supported an outdoor Look at Life Physical Training (PT) enrichment session for cadet students at Park View Academy of Sport.S4L Community CIC recently supported an outdoor Look at Life Physical Training (PT) enrichment session for cadet students at Park View Academy of Sport.
The session was designed and delivered by Jason Primus, a former S4L Level 3 Personal Training graduate who progressed through our North East partner network. Drawing on experience from the MOD, Jason volunteered his time to deliver a practical, structured outdoor PT session for the Park View cadets programme.
The aim was to give students an insight into the standards, teamwork and physical preparation associated with Army-style training. Activities included speed, agility and quickness drills, partner-based tasks, teamwork challenges and high-intensity physical activities.
This reflects S4L Community’s commitment to building progression pathways where former learners return as role models and volunteers supporting the next generation, while highlighting the value of physical activity in developing skills linked to leadership, employability and personal and community growth.
